Sam works in Photography, Design, Picture Framing, Alchemy, Wandering and Star Gazing

Sam has journeyed across the seas to Australia, where he now lives. His work and wanderings have taken him  across the globe to countries such as India, Sri Lanka and Japan- where he recently spent some time living on the small island of Ishigaki in Okinawa, looking at the stars.

Sam draws inspiration from the Situationists, whose theory of the deríve has informed his work and approach to life. Sam applies a psycho-geographic perspective to his art practice and day to day life. Through his photography he leads us into an exploration of the unknown, and invites us to take delight in whatever is found. The bodies of work he has produced to date show his impression of the dark and light sides of the world that we move through.
